Manufacture:

Raw Materials Inspection
Before tire manufacturing, all raw materials are inspected strictly as per TOYAMA QC standard.

Mixing:
Mixing is to mix raw materials, including Carbon Black, Natural/Synthetic Rubber, Oil, Additive and Accelerator etc. inside giant blenders under high heat and pressure. All ingredients are blended together into homogenized batch of black materials with the consistency of gum.

Extrusion:
Put the rubber compound into the Extruding machine, and then get the different semi-finished rubber components like the tread band, the side wall and triangle strip, inside liner etc

Calerndering:
Rubber compound, cord thread through the rolling machine and both sides of core can be put on a thin rubber material, and the finished product “cordage”.

Tyre Bead:
Bronze-coated strands of steel wire, fashioned into two hoops, are implanted into the sidewall of the tyres to form the bead, which assures an airtight fit with the rim of the wheel. The strands are aligned into a ribbon coated with rubber for adhesion, then wound into loops that are then wrapped together to secure them until they are assembled with the rest of the tyre.

Cutting:
The cordage are cut to the precise angle and size specified by the tyre engineer to provide the desired characteristics.

Tyre Building:
The process of tire building is to assemble tire tread, body plies, ,inner liner, belt etc into a form very close to the final dimesion of a tire. All parts are pressed firmly together by machines. The end result is called a green carcass, ready for inspection and curing. .

Tyre Curing:
Green carcass gets final tread patterns and shapes after curing process. Hot moulds, which are engraved with tread pattern , sidewall marking etc, shape and vulcanize the tires under certain temperature and time requirement. And then the tires are ejected from moulds.

Final Inspection:
Besides surface inspection, TOYOMA tyres should pass the “X-ray detection, balance testing and tire uniformity test before delivering to storage area.
